The season 2015-2016 presents itself full of interesting and exciting projects and collaborations for Iván. Starting with performances of Exhausting Space at B-Motion festival in Bassano del Grappa, following the Nederlandse Dansdagen festival in Maastricht and a tour in theaters throughout the Netherlands later in the Spring.
Young Men returns for six performances in the Sadler´s Wells Theatre in London presented by the Balletboyz in October.
In November, an international cross-cultural collaboration premieres, Hui is inspired and focused on the music of award-winning composer Tan Dun, commissioned by the National Theater of Taipei and produced by Dance Forum Taipei and Anmaro Asian Arts.
In January another interdisciplinary work will be born, Wachten op de barbaren is created in collaboration with Theater director Michiel de Regt, co-produced by Tonelschuur and Korzo Productions, followed by a tour in the Netherlands of twenty-five performances and also presented at the Holland Dance Festival in The Hague.
To end the season, the Leipzig Ballet will present a triple bill of the diverse works Skyward, Kick the Bucket and Flesh.
The latest news, Pivot Dance, the joint project of the Nederlandse Dansdagen (Maastricht), The Place (UK) and Comune di Bassano del Grappa (Italy) and supported by Creative Europe; Iván Pérez will be working with creative producer Joriene Blom, together with an Audience Club, on a new production that will be shown during the season 2016-2017 in London, Bassano del Grappa and Maastricht.
