Open-air art gallery Arte Sella in Italy, is an unparalleled creative process of its kind, in a valley of rare suggestion, which in more than 20 years of life has seen artistic languages and inspirations shared by the desire to have a continuous dialogue between creativity and the natural world.
For this extraordinary place, Iván Pérez builds a work on silence, in memory of the soldiers who fought during the First World War. His choreography embraces the natural landscape of Arte Sella and enters the relationship with the story that has crossed these places. The performance draws inspiration from the anticipatory and revolutionary work of artist Michelangelo Pistoletto. In an intense physical tribute, the dancers create the sound, inviting the spectator to reflect on the deep meaning that is within every silence.
